So I'm reluctant to dismiss her because there's a bug that some people get where she dissapears from the game, even tho she says she'll be at "blah blah" location. Anyone know a fix, or if they're able to hire her after dismissing her?

Apr 2, 2013 · Ok so here is an actually answer that might help you. Anytime you dismiss Serana she will go to the dawngaurd castle. IF you can't find her there then she is glitched. Sometimes she will not return to dawngaurd even after you dismiss her. She will just stay were ever it was that you told her it was time to part ways. To fix that, you typically have to go out and get Sanguinare Vampiris from a regular vampire and let yourself turn completely - though just installing USLEEP might sort it out on the spot. Or you can spare her and work with her, but we should have the choice. Bethesda clearly wanted us to care about her, but then they never even patched the fucking bug when you cure her. Instead, you need a mod for that, which you then have to disable if you start a new game or change to a character that hasn't had her cured.
